We are pleased to inform you that Interreg Europe Policy Learning Platform will organise its next online workshop on Innovation for Societal Grand Challenges on Wednesday 8 September 2021, 14:00 – 17:00 (CET)

The objective of this online workshop is to explore how research and innovation can respond to Societal Grand Challenges, namely for Agri-food, Health, and Water.
We are happy to confirm the presence of excellent keynote speakers:
- Peter Wehrheim, Head of Unit, Bioeconomy and Food Systems, DG Research and Innovation, European Commission.
- Elvira Uyarra, Professor, University of Manchester, United Kingdom.
- Elisabetta Marinelli, Policy Analyst @Policy Research Interface, Spain.
The online workshop will feature Interreg Europe good practices related to Agri-food, Health, and Water: Tipperary Food Producers Network (TFPN) in Ireland, and the Living In Place Innovation Infrastructure: LebensPhasenHaus (LPH) in Germany, and Wetsus in the Netherlands.
During working groups, we are encouraging you to be ready to share your experience and knowledge in designing and implementing policies to promote Innovation for Societal Grand Challenges with other participants (1 slide/2 minutes).
Finally, the online workshop will offer plenty of opportunities to ask questions and to network with other participants. At the end of the workshop, we are offering you the opportunity to book a 10-minute slot with us to discuss policy challenges and needs, to learn more about peer review and matchmaking opportunities, the Policy Learning Platform knowledge hub, and opportunities to be more engaged with our work by proposing topics for events and to contribute to our future policy briefs.
